Sherry Lyon-Resh has taught dance and choreographed
programs at several universities and theatres. She directed the dance
program at the Sarasota Visual and Performing Arts High School. Sherry
taught The Pilates Method in New York City before co-founding Dynamic
Fitness in Sarasota. Sherry has a master's in fine arts in dance from
the University of North Carolina. Kathy hold Pilates certifications from
The Pilates Studio in New York City under the tutelage of Romana
Kryzanowska, The Pilates Method's grande dame and official heir to the
method taught by Joseph Pilates.
Kathryn Dandois-Boivin previously was a principal
ballerina with the Sarasota Ballet of Florida and Dance Alive! in
Gainesville, Florida. She performed on scholarship with the National
Ballet of Washington and Joffrey Ballet. Kathy trained with Maggie
Black, David Howard and Richard Thomas. She has an associate of arts
degree from SantaFe Community College. Kathy hold Pilates certifications
from The Pilates Studio in New York City under the tutelage of Romana
Kryzanowska, The Pilates Method's grande dame and official heir to the
method taught by Joseph Pilates.
Michelle Sibilia studied classical Pilates for 6
years under Romana Kryzanowska certified instructors prior to training
and apprenticing with Bob Liekens and Susan Moran Perich at Power
Pilates in New York City. She received her 600 hour certification in
January 2006, moved to Sarasota, and has been teaching at Dynamic
Fitness ever since. She maintains her certification through Power
Pilates continuing education, as well as with other internationally
renowned master instructors. Michelle holds a BFA from New York
University's Tisch School of the Arts, and worked for years as a scenic
artist/set designer for theatre.
